Monday-Friday, with varied shifts: 7:30am-4:00pm, 9:00am- 5:30pm, 12:00pm-8:30pm, 5:00pm-1:30am (M-F with rotating Saturdays) Pay: $17.00 hour Job Type: Temp to Perm, Full Time

Job Description:
To be successful as a production employee you should be able to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy. A production worker should be able to follow direction from management, maintain production standards, and work toward improving quality while respecting food safety requirements.
- Strong communication skills
- Physical dexterity: ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in cold conditions (38 degrees Fahrenheit)
- Strong attention to detail – maintain product quality.
- Able to follow directions and ask questions if not clear on assignment.
- Following productions guidelines and specifications
- Following all food safety protocols
- Able to work as a team
- Finalizing, packaging, and labelling products for picking room and shipments
- Monitoring the assembly line and adjusting/removing faulty products
- Working on the production line and meeting production targets
- Reporting issues to the supervisor on duty
- Attend and participate in all food safety training.
- Good attendance necessary
Seasonality:
During holiday periods production will need to ramp up to meet peak demand (ie, Thanksgiving, Christmas/Channukah, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Purim, Passover, Easter, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, etc) will require that employee not take time off the 1-3 weeks unless absolutely necessary.
Production employee works with the production team to produce required items to meet demand. Employee will be trimming, slicing, adjusting, and vacuum sealing smoked salmon.
