We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client’s team in Skaneateles, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC programming, machining operations, and interpreting technical documents. Familiarity with HAAS machines and Solidworks CAD/CAM is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and procedure manuals.
- Set machining parameters including speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of CNC programming experience.
- Familiarity with HAAS CNC machines and Solidworks CAD/CAM.
- Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry in machining tasks.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and safety protocols.
