We are a premier importer and wholesale distributor of high-fashion apparel and accessories, specializing in leather goods. We are currently seeking a skilled Leather Specialist to join our team, focusing on the repair, refurbishment, and quality control of shoes within our product line.
Key Responsibilities:Repair and Refurbishment:
- Repair and restore a wide range of footwear, including high-fashion shoes, boots, and leather-based styles, ensuring they meet company and industry quality standards.
- Perform detailed hand sewing and machine stitching on footwear materials, including leather, suede, and synthetic components.
- Recondition shoes through cleaning, conditioning, polishing, sole replacement, and color touch-ups.
Salary:
Hourly rate per experience
Office near Mineola LIRR Train Station; from there to our office is a 20 minute walk or there is a taxi service at the station.
