Parts Maker

Join Charge Rigs as a Parts Maker in our Engineering Department, where you’ll use CNC machines and plasma cutters to fabricate high-quality components for our cutting-edge EV charging hardware. This full-time role is based at our headquarters in Apopka, FL.

Charge Rigs is seeking a skilled Parts Maker to support our production line by fabricating precision components for our innovative EV charging hardware, including OMEGA, FLEXX, GenIQ, DYNAMO, and APEX products. In this role, you will work with advanced CNC machines, plasma cutters, and other specialized equipment to ensure our parts meet exacting quality and performance standards.

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce components per engineering blueprints and specifications.
• Use plasma cutters to fabricate parts with precision and attention to detail.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure consistent operation and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve design or production issues.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and schematics.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Keep accurate records of production activities, including material usage and time tracking.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.

This role is essential to ensuring the seamless production of our industry-leading EV charging solutions.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines and plasma cutters.

  Proficiency with G-code programming and the ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to measure and verify components to meet exact specifications.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining or fabrication issues.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or certification in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
• Work Ethic: Self-motivated, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
