Metal Fabrication​/Weld Production Team Lead

Join us as the Metal Fabrication/Weld Production Team Lead, where you’ll orchestrate people, processes, and equipment to hit safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets across fabrication and welding areas.

• Develop, train, and inspire a high‑performing team; set expectations, coach performance, and build a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Proactively address production risks—material shortages, equipment downtime, delays—by instituting playbooks that cut lost time.
• Align staffing and schedules to production/testing plans; coordinate activities across departments and, when needed, multiple shifts.
• Track manufacturing costs, output, and methods; ensure optimal utilization of hours, skills, machinery, and facilities.
• Collaborate with engineering to refine equipment, tooling, and processes for better safety, throughput, and quality.
• Use data to forecast labor needs and department efficiency; drive continuous improvement and cost‑reduction projects to completion with measurable gains.
• Oversee budgets and initiate corrective actions to stay within plan.
• Audit incoming materials and finished goods for quality compliance.
• Lead the full spectrum of supervisory duties: recruiting/hiring, planning and assigning work, EEO/AA compliance, performance management, and department budgeting.

• Strong communicator with demonstrated leadership in manufacturing or warehousing.
• Education/experience paths: HS Diploma (or equivalent) + 3+ years in manufacturing with prior people leadership; OR Bachelor’s degree + 1+ year in manufacturing.
• Cross‑department exposure preferred.
• Continuous improvement experience with tangible results.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, procedures, and production/quality standards; ability to read/interpret blueprints and engineering drawings may be required by location.
• Advanced problem‑solving for both personnel and production issues.
• Proficiency with office software and enterprise systems like SAP.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Fluent in English and the primary local language of the site.

Base pay: $70,000–$90,000 USD annually, depending on experience. Final compensation within this range is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
