Forklift Truck Operator

Location: East Durham

Our client, Warehouse and Manufacturing Operations is seeking a Forklift Truck Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Truck Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse team supporting inventory control and material movement. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and the drive to maintain accurate inventory records using an ERP system.

** Pay Range:**  $24.50 per hour

** Shift:
** 7:00am - 7:00pm (rotating shifts)

** What's the Job?*
* + Complete daily stock transactions, including supplying material to production areas

+ Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT/FORKLIFT) to perform inventory moves safely and accurately

+ Support receipt, administration, control, and management of inventory of raw and packaging materials

+ Enter and provide input for data related to items purchased and used by the company

+ Complete daily checklists and logbooks, and help identify continuous improvement opportunities for departmental systems and processes

** What's Needed?*
* + High School diploma

+ Basic math skills

+ Reading and writing comprehension of the English language

+ Flexibility to work extended hours to achieve results

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, sit, and walk for extended periods

+ Warehouse experience preferred
