Location: Village of Clayville
$20.90/hour | Various Shifts Available Staffworks is hiring for Foundry 1 (formerly Associate Furnace Operator)! Join an industrial manufacturing team with competitive pay, excellent benefits from day one, and opportunities for career growth.
RequirementsU.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good attendance and strong communication skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently and work at heights up to 60 feet.
Ability to wear a respirator and required safety equipment.
Ability to stand up to 8 hours and perform bending, lifting, squatting, twisting, overhead reaching, and stair climbing.
Job Responsibilities Assist with setup, operation, cleaning, and monitoring of a vacuum atomization furnace.
Prepare and transport raw materials.
Assist with furnace controls, minor equipment repairs, and maintenance.
Remove and replace furnace lids and coils using an electric hoist.
Clean furnace chambers and crucibles and perform minor crucible repairs.
Assist with connecting and disconnecting gas, electrical, and water lines.
Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety, EH&S, and ACE guidelines.
Perform other related duties as needed.
