We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Technician to join our 1st shift machining operations. This is a dedicated setup role—we are looking for a true setup specialist, not a basic machine operator. Fun environment, very low turnover and we like to promote people from within. We work hard but keep it light hearted.
salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year

Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Perform complete setup operations on 3-axis CNC milling machines for custom plastic component production.
- Tooling & Fixturing: Set up cutting tools, insert holders, load zero-point work holding/fixturing systems, and establish accurate offsets.
- Program Verification: Read, interpret, and adjust G-code at the controller to ensure proper machine operations and correct cutting paths.
- Quality & First-Piece Inspection: Perform first-piece setup inspections, check production parts to engineering drawings using standard measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.), and maintain tight dimensional tolerances.
