Position Summary

The Assistant Perfumer is an entry-level developmental role designed for a recent graduate with a strong interest in pursuing a career in perfumery. Working directly with and under the guidance of a Master Perfumer, the Assistant Perfumer provides day-to-day organizational, administrative, project, and creative support that enables the Perfumer to operate efficiently and remain focused on fragrance creation and customer priorities.

The Junior Perfumer will gain exposure to the creative perfumery process by working closely alongside an experienced Perfumer, learning the discipline, terminology, materials, processes, and expectations of the profession. The successful candidate must be highly responsive, organized, intellectually curious, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment. This individual must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and the ability to listen carefully, follow direction precisely, execute quickly, and anticipate the needs of the Perfumer.

For a high-performing individual who demonstrates the appropriate technical aptitude, olfactive ability, creativity, discipline, and commitment to the craft, this role may provide a pathway to formal mentorship and future progression.
