Product Inspector

Penn Yan, NY | $18.75/hour | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Part-Time | Minimum 3 Days Per Week

We are hiring a Part-Time Production Inspector to join a busy food manufacturing team in Penn Yan. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a consistent weekday daytime schedule.

This position requires a minimum commitment of 3 days per week
, with additional days available based on business needs.

• Inspect finished products for leaks, damaged packaging, and seal issues

• Remove defective products from the production line

• Repack or rework products when needed

• Perform basic quality checks and record rejected products

• Help stack, palletize, and prepare finished products for shipment

• Keep your work area clean and safe

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

• Work with the production team to meet daily goals

• Reliable and dependable attendance

• Commitment to working at least 3 days per week

• Good attention to detail

• Able to follow written and verbal instructions

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

• Manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required

• High school diploma/GED preferred

• Able to stand for most of the workday

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Able to perform repetitive tasks

• Comfortable working around production equipment and machinery

• $18.75/hour

• Part-time schedule

• Minimum 3 days per week

• Monday–Friday availability

• 7:00 AM–3:00 PM day shift

• No previous manufacturing experience required

• Stable food manufacturing environment
