The Machinist II position is responsible for the proficient operation of CNC and/or manual machines to produce precise components with minimal assistance.

• Independently set up and operate CNC and/or manual machines for predetermined processes.
• Inspect and verify conformance of machined parts using provided measurement tools and techniques.
• Detect and resolve minor processing issues.
• Assist in training less experienced machine operators.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain or improve production processes as well as participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure all safety, quality, and production standards are met and maintained.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety procedures.

• High school diploma required; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machinist in a production environment.
• Understanding of precision measuring tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing prints and GD&T quality specifications.

• Proficiency in operating CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
• Ability to perform accurate part inspections and detect machine issues.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
