Thorn willow Press is seeking careful, dependable, detail-oriented people to help inspect, finish, and package the fine books, stationery, and other printed objects we produce by hand in our Newburgh workshops.
- Inspecting finished books, stationery, and printed materials for quality and completeness.
- Cleaning, correcting minor imperfections, and performing simple finishing tasks.
- Wrapping and packaging orders beautifully and securely for shipment.
- Organizing completed orders and maintaining an orderly finishing and packing area.
- Working with our production and shipping teams to ensure orders leave promptly and in excellent condition.
We welcome applicants with experience in bookbinding, printmaking, framing, crafts, fine-art handling, packaging, or other work requiring patience and manual dexterity. Previous experience is helpful but not essential.
Part-time positions, approximately 2-4 days per week, with flexible scheduling.
Additional hours may be available during busy periods.
Compensation will depend on experience.
