We’re looking for a consumer‑focused Vice President, Integrated Brand Communications, to join our growing leadership team and help insert our brands into some of the biggest moments in the cultural calendar with breakthrough programs rooted in earned media. The right candidate will be ambitious, hard‑working, and knows how to create and execute programs and what it takes to tell a good story that drives PR results.

Responsibilities

This Vice President, Integrated Brand Communications will create, lead and advance fresh, integrated communications programs that generate earned media across traditional and new outlets and channels for some of our top clients. You’ll partner with internal teams and external agencies to build and develop compelling, sharable storytelling campaigns across earned media and owned social channels.

The role is built for someone who understands the future of PR and how to tell a story that earns it in today’s quickly changing media landscape.

Responsibilities for this role will include serving as a client and team leader. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cultural trends, proven working knowledge of today’s media landscape, strong writing skills, and experience driving earned media results that connect back to a brand’s business goals. This person will play a key role in creating and executing integrated communications strategies that proactively and reactively achieve key business objectives.

They will effectively drive a workstream forward while managing up and guiding more junior team members.

  • Oversee day‑to‑day client work streams, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and driving the team to ensure timely execution of program elements
  • Lead, develop and execute integrated communications programs (e.g. including media relations/earned media, event management, talent/paid and earned influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, data‑based storytelling, and social/PR content production oversight) in partnership with internal and external cross‑functional teams
  • Maintain current knowledge of trends, the competitive landscape, and confidently provide strategic point‑of‑views to the client
  • Be proactive, anticipate client needs and keep multiple work streams moving
  • Present strategic recommendations and ongoing updates / counsel to key internal and external stakeholders, building strong client relationships and trust
  • Cultivate and foster relationships with key traditional and new media contacts in the consumer space
  • Identify and tap into cultural trends and conversations to uncover proactive storytelling/newsjacking opportunities and fuel earned‑first creative concepts
