You have the potential to excel in this dynamic Vice President level role with Chandler Chicco Agency.

Responsibilities
  • A seasoned day‑to‑day account lead for broad communications strategy and execution who will manage the team and support the senior account leads and senior strategists across a high‑profile ~$10M+ account in the adult vaccines space
  • Focus areas will include robust, cross‑functional unbranded communications, large scale celebrity and influencer programs, patient engagement, media relations and events/production. Should have deep understanding and experience in the consumer celebrity/influencer space from an execution and strategic point of view
  • A strong communicator, writer and strategist, the ideal candidate will be a high energy, collaborative individual who can manage teams while also rolling up their sleeves to work directly with clients to solve problems and implement programs. This person should also be able to think big, make pivots and continuously have a pulse on cultural themes to integrate into the work
  • Write and review communications materials with close attention to detail, such as influencer and celebrity concepts/script/social posts, influencer and celebrity contracts and guidelines, press releases, backgrounders, key messages, client internal communications/leadership notes
  • Review and oversee development of timelines, calendars, action plans, runs of show, agendas, call notes and overall account support materials
  • Lead budget management and monthly billing processes
  • Act as day‑to‑day contact for core clients
  • Regularly collaborate with partnering agencies, shared services, vendors, media and other third‑parties
  • Importantly, there is a lot of opportunity within a rapidly expanding agency to learn multiple skills and take on new responsibilities to quickly advance their career
  • Success factors:
    Must be able to work collaboratively and be a proactive communicator; it’s important that this person be a driver and self‑motivated. Given the account moves at a fast pace with a large team, it is important that the individual has high attention to detail, organization and proactivity managing up and down
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry (agency experience preferred), and a bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or a related field
  • Strong client relations expertise
  • Experience/interest in vaccines as well as celebrity/influencer strategies is preferred, but not required; candidate must have knowledge in scientific and data/regulatory communications
  • This candidate must have strong project management skills, including team delegation, timeline and budget tracking, quality control and logistics planning. Strong writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, and oral communications skills are critical
  • An understanding of social media processes/tools/approach/regulations, corporate review processes, healthcare regulations and issues management is beneficial
  • Writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, attention to detail and oral communications are required
  • Willingness to travel is required for client meetings and events in this role
  • Must be energized by being a member of a highly entrepreneurial work environment that rewards and fosters personal initiative and team work
  • Must have experience in managing finances and staffing for a large, integrated team
Compensation
