Overview

The VP, Paid Media will play a critical leadership role on the marketing team and across the organization. As we expand our paid media offering, we are looking for someone with the vision and drive to paint a picture of the future and then build and lead a best-in-class paid media center of excellence for Prosek's clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic paid media planner and account lead to develop, manage, and optimize media plans across digital and traditional channels.

The ideal candidate combines analytical skills with creative thinking to ensure campaigns meet performance goals and deliver measurable business results. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and external media partners to execute high-impact campaigns that reach the right audiences efficiently for our financial and professional services clients.

What you'll do
  • Help build and lead Prosek's Paid Media team, formalizing and scaling the firm's internal media buying and planning capabilities
  • Help lead a team of paid media managers and strategists responsible for developing and mentoring direct reports through coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable, conducting their reviews, and overseeing their professional development
  • Work as a member of integrated client teams to drive advertising programs across paid social, search, programmatic, direct buys, OOH/DOOH, audio, and more
  • Serve as a senior strategic counselor and senior client-facing point of contact; present media plans, explain strategy, and provide real‑time counsel
  • Lead comprehensive media plan builds that align with client objectives, target audiences, and budgets
  • Lead campaign execution: request proposals, issue insertion orders (IOs), traffic media buys, and reconcile spend
  • Oversee campaign setup, ensuring accurate trafficking, tracking, and pacing
  • Develop and launch campaigns based on client goals, including platform selection and audience targeting
  • Design and implement effective and efficient internal processes to ensure proper financial and operational management of the function
  • Day-to-day supervision of paid campaigns and strategy, including strategically relevant platform and publication identification, audience/keyword targeting, bid strategies, execution details, budget management, optimization, and alignment towards KPIs and business goals.
  • Synthesize data, analyze results, identify trends, report and execute on key findings to achieve paid media objectives
  • Oversee analytics efforts around campaign data to evaluate performance based on KPIs and benchmarks to produce actionable insights and optimizations.
