What you will do

• Develop and execute outreach strategies, crafting personalized pitches to secure quality media coverage and links
• Write and refine press materials, media pitches, and supporting documents to align with client objectives
• Monitor and analyse PR performance metrics to optimise campaign effectiveness and pivot strategy when necessary
• Manage proactive and reactive media opportunities, including newsjacking and campaign planning
• Provide actionable insights through link gap analysis and audience‑targeting strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets
• Collaborate with SEO, Content, and Social teams to align PR activities with broader marketing strategies
• Use PR tools and analytics platforms to track campaign performance and outreach success such as Buzzstream, Muckrack, Qwoted, Buzz Sumo, Ahrefs, and more
• Present reports and recommendations to clients with confidence and clarity
• Continuously refine outreach strategies to improve response rates and placements
• Contribute to the evolution of team workflows and reporting processes
• Stay updated on industry trends and media landscape changes to inform PR strategies
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as needed

• Strong media relations skills with a proven track record of securing media placements
• Excellent writing and editing skills with experience in crafting press materials and pitches
• Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Proficiency in PR tools and analytics platforms
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with integrated campaigns across PR, SEO, Content, and Social
• Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced environment and respond quickly to media opportunities
• Detail‑oriented with a strategic mindset and problem‑solving abilities
• Knowledge of industry trends and audience‑targeting strategies
• Experience in PR, media relations, or a related field
