Our client is expanding their New York office and is looking for a Channel Marketing Manager to lead their marketing activity in North America. This is a new role and requires gravitas to work in conjunction with sales to deliver impactful marketing activity.

Working closely with the global marketing team, you will be responsible for:

• Creating and implementing marketing strategy for North America across institutional and wholesale channels to drive sales growth.
• Collaborating with the Relationship Group to develop and review sales material to ensure it is compelling and consistent with agreed positioning.
• Monitoring and reporting on North America’s competitor landscape, creating actionable insights on competitors and how to differentiate the firm’s funds.
• Managing the North America marketing budget, including its creation and oversight.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive marketing experience within the investment management industry, including responsibility for strategy and budgets.
• Excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and good planning and delivery capability.
• Comfort with communicating with senior management and people from all areas within the firm.
• Strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally.
• Strong knowledge of the US (and wider Americas) regulatory environment.
• Knowledge of the full marketing mix: brand management, digital marketing, investment marketing, and social media.
