Hilma is an omnichannel brand, sold DTC on  as well on Amazon and in 10,000+ stores, including Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Grove Collaborative, Thrive Market, and more. In 2022, Hilma was acquired by the Biocodex Group, an international pharmaceutical company based in France with a US subsidiary located in Bedminster, NJ.

The Brand Marketing Director will report to the GM for Hilma. The position is based out of the Hilma office in Brooklyn, NY with expected office presence Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday.

You’ll have the opportunity to set strategy and lead a best‑in‑class marketing organization towards its revenue goals, executing excellence in the areas of omnichannel marketing strategy, brand positioning, customer experience, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Develop and execute a cohesive brand and marketing strategy that drives Hilma’s growth across Amazon, DTC, and retail.
  • Define and continuously refine brand positioning using consumer insights, market data, and competitive intelligence.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the customer and competitive landscape to shape strategies that attract new users and strengthen loyalty.
Integrated Marketing & Creative Execution
  • Create and lead the planning of fully integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels—including digital, retail activations, PR, influencer, and partnerships.
  • Drive the creative briefing process to ensure messaging, visuals, and storytelling align with commercial objectives and brand strategy.
  • Ensure all campaigns deliver against performance targets and contribute to brand equity and revenue growth.
Partnerships & Community Growth
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that expand brand awareness, acquisition, and engagement.
  • Develop co‑branded initiatives with external partners to create unique consumer experiences and build community.
Customer Experience
  • Own the end‑to‑end Hilma customer experience across ecommerce, Amazon, and retail.
  • Oversee customer inquiries, feedback channels, and ongoing insight generation to inform improvements across the funnel.
Portfolio Management + Product Development
  • Lead portfolio and lifecycle management, including SKU rationalization and channel strategy.
  • Partner closely with product development on innovation, from insight generation and concepting to ingredient selection, pricing, and commercialization.
Budget + Performance
  • Own P&L performance and drive growth through strategic decisions across pricing, promotion, innovation, margin, and distribution.
  • Manage marketing budgets and develop KPI dashboards to track and report on marketing performance and ROI.
Team leadership
  • Lead, mentor and inspire a high‑performing marketing team, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, curiosity and growth.
