AboutThis Role
We are seeking a Media Director for our Paid Media team. The media director will lead and manage our growing roster of B2B clients, craft bespoke strategies and media plans that drive measurable results, and balance client strategy with day‑to‑day execution in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and skilled at balancing both strategy and execution.

New York, NY; or Washington, DC. Team is in‑office at least 3 days per week.

Core Responsibilities- Lead multiple client accounts, managing end‑to‑end, multi‑channel paid media campaigns.
- Develop comprehensive paid media strategy, translating client goals into campaign KPIs and maintaining work plans for internal and external teams.
- Create media strategies and plans from scratch, selecting the best platforms and tactics to meet goals.
- Manage and advise junior staff on execution and optimization across self‑serve platforms and channels.
- Present detailed reports, providing big‑picture analysis, recommendations, and actionable takeaways to senior client contacts.
- Stay up‑to‑date on client news, events, and priorities; troubleshoot ad platform crises.
- Share trend updates, platform policy changes, and new opportunities with internal and client teams.
- Pitch new business and proactively seek new client opportunities, leveraging professional network leads.
- Collaborate with paid media leadership to establish and implement internal processes for efficiency and best practices.
- 6-8 years of planning, buying, and managing omnichannel paid media campaigns (paid social, search, video, CTV/OTT, programmatic, streaming audio, print, OOH, direct publisher buys).
- Expertise with Tech B2B, SaaS, ABM, and performance‑heavy clients.
- Fast‑paced, client‑focused experience handling competing deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication with all levels of staff, clients, and vendors.
- Reliable self‑organization systems and meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated research, problem‑solving, and staff management (mentoring and motivation).
- Team player with strong desire to achieve group objectives.
- Agency experience managing multi‑channel campaigns.
Orchestra offers competitive industry‑rate salary bands. Salary range is $110,000‑$130,000. We regularly review and adjust compensation to ensure equity across teams and levels.
