We are seeking a sharp, strategic communicator to serve as Communications Lead for Citi Wealth Marketing. This individual will lead internal and executive communication efforts across the marketing organization — crafting a clear, consistent, and compelling voice for the Global Head of Wealth Marketing and the broader team.
This role manages everything from internal announcements and leadership memos to talking points, town halls, newsletters, and global forums. It plays a key role in fostering transparency, driving employee engagement, and elevating the visibility of the marketing organization across Citi Wealth and the broader firm. It also supports strategic storytelling around marketing priorities, performance, and transformation.
The ideal candidate is a polished writer, confident collaborator, and strategic thinker who can quickly distil complex information into concise narratives. They must be comfortable working with senior stakeholders and able to uphold discretion and precision in high‑visibility communications.
Responsibilities- Craft and manage internal and executive communications for the Global Head of Wealth Marketing, including speaking points, emails, memos, and presentations.
- Develop messaging strategies for key marketing initiatives, milestones, and organizational updates.
- Coordinate marketing’s presence at global leadership forums, offsites, and employee events.
- Support internal branding, employee engagement, and visibility initiatives across the marketing team.
- Serve as liaison to Citi’s global communications team to ensure alignment and amplification of messaging.
- Maintain a consistent voice and narrative across all internal touchpoints.
- Drive editorial planning for marketing newsletters, org‑wide announcements, and leadership events.
- Expanded Responsibilities:
Beyond traditional communications, this role would encompass:- Team routines (staff meetings, onsite, Town Halls, employee events).
- Calendar and meeting preparation support.
- Deck building and presentation support.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 10+ years of experience in executive or internal communications, preferably within a large corporate or financial environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience supporting senior leaders, including C‑level executives, and navigating matrixed environments.
- Strong understanding of organizational dynamics, tone, and discretion.
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Clear and strategic communicator.
- Confident writer with editorial excellence.
- Diplomatic and highly responsive.

- Organized and deadline‑driven.
