Grameen America is at a pivotal moment as an organization, halfway through its five-year strategy for breakout scale and impact in low-income communities across the United States and approaching its 20-year anniversary. Critical to the next phase of this strategy will be the implementation of a broader scope of products and services designed to further deepen Grameen program impact for members in their journey to financial mobility.

Scaling these new products and services will fundamentally shift both member and staff experience, and their successful implementation will depend on the organization’s ability to communicate these key strategic and programmatic shifts to all stakeholder groups, internal and external. The Senior Director of Strategic Communications, Brand and Marketing is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, organization-wide communications strategy that advances mission, drives growth, and strengthens engagement with key stakeholders.

Reporting to the Chief Development & Marketing Officer, this newly designed role offers a unique opportunity to build and lead a communications and marketing function at a pivotal moment in Grameen America's evolution. Both strategic and hands‑on, the Senior Director will define strategy, establish best practices, and build the processes, infrastructure, and team capabilities needed to oversee external communications, internal communications, and client/member communications and marketing.

The role will ensure the organization communicates with clarity, consistency, and impact across key audiences while strengthening the brand.
