Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Temporary Marketing Support professional for an established nonprofit performing arts organization dedicated to connecting audiences with dynamic arts and cultural programming.
POSITION OVERVIEWThe Temporary Marketing Support professional will provide approximately 12 weeks of paternity leave coverage, supporting strategic marketing and communications initiatives across the Marketing and Development departments. This role will help coordinate digital and print communications, email marketing, web content, social media, and marketing assets designed to increase audience engagement, attendance, and contributed and earned revenue. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail-oriented marketing professional who can quickly step into a fast-paced environment and independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
PERKSCompetitive pay of $35-$40 per hour! Part-time schedule at approximately 25 hours per week. Flexible scheduling within standard office hours of 9:00 AM-6:00 PM. RESPONSIBILITIES- Support the development and execution of marketing and communications plans for programs, fundraising initiatives, members, patrons, and donor prospects.
- Coordinate digital and print marketing assets, including email, social media, website content, direct mail, advertising, signage, and promotional materials.
- Create promotional emails using HTML templates and execute website content updates.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, serving as a liaison between Marketing, Development, Creative Services, Programming, and Digital Media.
- Support social media content, digital signage, annual gala materials, and other initiatives designed to increase reach, revenue, and engagement.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of marketing deliverables, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure projects remain accurate and on schedule.
- Marketing, communications, or related experience with demonstrated project management and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Experience creating promotional emails using HTML templates, updating website content, and supporting digital marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Interest in nonprofit, fundraising, performing arts, social media, and current marketing best practices; willingness to work occasional evening or weekend hours as needed.
This temporary position offers a competitive pay rate of $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience. The position is approximately 25 hours per week and is expected to provide paternity leave coverage for approximately 12 weeks, with the possibility of extension. This role is 100% onsite in Brooklyn, NY, with scheduling flexibility between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
