Marketing Assistant

The Sing Easy is a growing vocal practice and wellness business offering in-person workshops, events, and digital experiences. Its approach centers on using the voice as an instrument and feedback system, with offerings designed to make vocal practice accessible, engaging, and useful in everyday life.

We’re looking for an organized, curious Marketing Assistant to support the growth of The Sing Easy across social media, email, events, partnerships, PR, and digital offerings. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of marketing while working closely with a small, growing business.

Marketing & Audience Growth

• Support day-to-day marketing and maintain a calendar across social, email, events, and campaigns
• Help manage and schedule social media content
• Keep links up-to-date with offerings
• Monitor engagement and audience growth and identify opportunities to improve performance

PR, Outreach & Partnerships

• Research relevant press, podcasts, newsletters, publications, and media opportunities
• Identify potential partnerships with wellness practitioners, creative communities, organizations, and aligned businesses
• Assist with outreach, relationship-building, and follow-ups
• Maintain contact lists, press kits, and promotional materials

Website & Event Marketing

• Maintain marketing-related content on Squarespace and create/update Eventbrite listings
• Help promote workshops, classes, events, and other offerings
• Ensure information is accurate and consistent across website, Eventbrite, social media, and email
• Support marketing campaigns for individual events and programs

• Remote but NYC based
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in marketing, communications, audience development, and/or PR
• Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing
• Comfortable learning tools such as Squarespace, Eventbrite, email marketing, and social scheduling platforms
• Previous experience in marketing, communications, PR, events, wellness, arts, or a related field is a plus, but not required

$25/hour | Approximately 5 hours/week to start

This role is designed to grow alongside The Sing Easy, with opportunities to take on more hours and responsibilities as the business develops.
