Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office per week. We operate a Fix + Flex model, with Wednesdays and Thursdays as our two Fix Days, when everyone is in the office, and the third day is Flex across Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

A benchmarked salary between $100,000 - $110,000 based on your level within our progression framework. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.

Born Social is on the hunt for a full time content creator to help deliver best in class social-first content. You need to be technically proficient as well as social obsessed, capable of bringing together brand messaging, audience insights, mobile first shooting and viral constructs. Our in-house creators move fast, producing platform-perfect content that’s responsive to social.

• Pre Production Conception:
  Collaborating with Creatives, contributing to the planning of shot-lists, ensuring the concepts and shooting techniques are representative of social-first and platform native styles.

• Pre Production Logistics:
  Collaborating closely with client stakeholders to ensure pre-production actions are completed ahead of attending shoots where appropriate (client permissions/release forms etc.), and advising on specific needs for the shoot based on agreed concepts (specific equipment).

• Shooting:
  Shooting video content for Instagram Reels, Stories, and Tik Tok, ensuring the content matches the art direction & concepts from pre production. Comfortable with composition, lighting and use of equipment, and using social-first, platform native shooting techniques (e.g. transitions, POVs, etc.) This may include featuring in content where relevant.

• Editing:
  Delivering social-first edits, able to ensure all clips sync seamlessly to the relevant audio, that there is a clear narrative to the content and that the final edit is consistent with platform native executions, handing over to the Design team for out of platform builds (motion graphic overlays, etc.)
