The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit environmental education organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of wolves in North America. With a mission to promote wolf restoration, educate the public about wolves' vital role in ecosystems, and advocate for their preservation, we strive to ensure the long-term survival of these magnificent creatures. Through research, advocacy, and community engagement, we work tirelessly to foster coexistence between wolves and humans while advocating for policies that support their conservation.

The Social Media Content Creator supports the organization's online presence by shooting, editing, and scheduling photo and video content, while working closely with the Communications and Social Media Manager to keep everything aligned with campaigns and brand guidelines. The role also helps monitor community engagement across platforms, tracking themes to inform messaging, pitches in on capturing content at events, and more.

• Work with the Communications and Social Media Manager to schedule content across social platforms
• Shoot and edit photos and short-form videos
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with campaigns, promotions, and brand guidelines Monitor and respond to direct messages, comments, and mentions across major social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Threads, and Bluesky
• Track recurring questions, sentiment, and community themes to identify opportunities for improved messaging, FAQs, or content
• Assist with digital asset management (photo and video library)
• Capture behind-the-scenes content at special events and key moments

• Strong eye for visual content- photo and video creation/editing skills required
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Suite), Final Cut Pro, and other video/photo editing platforms for content creation
• Familiarity with Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, You Tube Shorts
• Proven experience creating content that is compelling and engaging.

WCC offers a competitive salary of $28 per hour. Salary ranges at WCC are standardized based on role level and function.
