Reporting to the local Field Marketing Specialist, the role is responsible for driving brand image and product understanding on campus and in the region. The position involves reaching new consumers, exciting university students, increasing sales, and driving visibility of the Red Bull brand.
Student Marketeers work flexibly in a creative and inclusive atmosphere rather than in a traditional 9 to 5 job.
- Represent Red Bull’s brand personality, values, and premium image through everyday interactions with consumers and customers.
- Build and execute a tailored, innovative campus plan that engages students and brings the brand to life at the university.
- Create and maintain a strong network on and around campus with key local individuals, and identify local collegiate content creators to bring into the World of Red Bull with the Field Marketing Specialist.
- Grow the user base by inviting positive product trial and awareness through sampling at the right place and time, answering consumer questions and concerns.
- Work at Red Bull events, collegiate activations, and supported events to deliver an unforgettable brand experience.
- Build awareness of and encourage participation in the World of Red Bull, including collegiate events and activations, and increase brand engagement through authentic social media content.
- Build relationships with local sales account managers to ensure Red Bull is available and visible in outlets, on campus, and in the region, and collaborate with sales to open new distribution points.
- Leverage World of Red Bull assets to keep the brand top of mind in sales accounts and ensure perfect execution of defined store standards.
- Deliver executional excellence with attention to detail, and share ideas and collaborate with the team through regular face-to-face and online interaction.
- Plan and report activities accurately and in a timely manner in the dedicated online platform, and contribute local insights, trends, and opportunities to business development.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid US driver’s licence.
- University or college enrolment required.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Able to work flexible part-time hours, including some evenings and weekends, for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
- Immersed in student life with an understanding of the collegiate landscape and local city, including behind-the-scenes activities and hot-spots.
- Connected with a diverse range of influential groups and individuals on campus.
- Affinity for project management, working 'behind the scenes', and winning sales.
- A team player, willing to represent Red Bull with branded outfits and onboard the Red Bull Mini.
- Employees may be required to lift and/or move items weighing 25 pounds or more, as needed.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
- Work takes place on and around the university campus and in the local region.
- Flexibility over a traditional 9 to 5 job.
- Creative and inclusive working atmosphere.
