Business Development Manager

For the New York Office of a Global Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

• Partner with practice and industry leaders to develop and execute business development strategies, with a focus on Financial Services.
• Manage pitches, proposals, and strategic pursuits, coordinating opportunity tracking and collaborating with pricing teams.
• Conduct market and client research to identify leads, cross-selling opportunities, and emerging industry trends.
• Support client account plans and feedback initiatives to deepen relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
• Develop integrated marketing campaigns, thought leadership, events, and sponsor ships to raise practice visibility and engage clients.
• Collaborate with global colleagues on marketing materials, matter tracking, media coverage, and directory and award submissions.

Qualifications include:

• Previous law firm business development experience required;
  Financial Services experience preferred;
  Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market and client insights into actionable growth opportunities.
• Strong client service orientation and attention to detail; client-facing and client feedback experience preferred.
• Understanding of the U.S. legal market, with the ability to collaborate across international teams and accommodate occasional work outside standard hours.

Salary: $160k-$200k
