The Marketing Coordinator will serve as a member of a cross-functional team that prepares and implements the Association’s marketing communications plan, including the development and publishing of customer facing information and marketing materials, along with updating and maintenance of social media accounts and the Association website and assisting with Public Affairs and Knowledge Exchange activities, as needed.

• Support the Marketing Communications team in presenting the value Farm Credit East products and services provide to support customer owner’s businesses and association growth initiatives.
• Work across Association teams to uphold the Farm Credit East brand and always promote a positive corporate image.

• Creates content for Farm Credit East social media networks
• Assists in creation of email campaigns to reach targeted customers and prospects
• Assists in maintenance of association brand websites, including coordination of web inquiries, as needed
• Assists in the development of Today’s Harvest blog content

• Develops consistent PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings
• Assists with the development and ordering of marketing content including brochures, folders, ads and tradeshow displays
• Assists in the coordination and promotion of Farm Credit East participation at internal and external events
• Organizes marketing materials on intranet site ensuring appropriate resources are available for staff
• Coordinates ad materials in digital and print media for local marketplace and sponsorship requests
• Serves in a backup capacity for members of the Marketing Communications team, as appropriate

• Maintains an updated list of farm and non-farm media contacts
• Develops a quarterly report of Knowledge Exchange/Marketing Communications activity to be provided to the Farm Credit East Board’s Governance/Stewardship Committee

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, business administration, related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job
