Join the Red Cross Volunteer Recruitment Team as an Advertising and Marketing Volunteer. In this role, you will play a critical part in attracting new volunteers by enhancing our outreach efforts through various media platforms.

• Update Flyers and Materials;
  Utilize Brand Central to ensure all recruitment materials are current, engaging, and aligned with Red Cross branding guidelines.
• Flyer Distribution: help distribute flyers in key community areas to promote volunteer opportunities and increase awareness of our mission.
• Online Postings and Follow-Ups: manage and update online postings, ensuring timely follow-ups to engage potential volunteers effectively.
• Collaboration with Local Newspapers: work closely with local newspapers to publish recruitment articles that highlight the rewarding opportunities available within the Red Cross. E-Newspapers: contribute articles to e-newspapers to broaden reach to digital audiences.
• Social Media Group Outreach: engage with social media groups to promote volunteer opportunities, sharing stories and updates to inspire action and involvement.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field is beneficial
• Comfortable using social media platforms and digital communication tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Creative, proactive, and enthusiastic about community service

• A FLEXIBLE commitment of at least 6 months and 10-12 hours per month
• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (a Red Cross vehicle and gas card will be provided)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional and positive attitude
• A willingness to learn and follow the Red Cross policies and procedures
