Planned Parenthood is the nation’s leading provider and advocate of high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive health care for all people, and the nation’s largest provider of sex education.

Purpose
  • The Philanthropy Coordinator is responsible for comprehensive support of the PMG department, including administrative, strategic, and events-related tasks.
Engagement
  • Partner with the National Director and frontline team, collaborate with coordinators, specialists, and operations to ensure data and activity compliance.
Delivery
  • Assist three PMG fundraisers and a discovery manager with proposals, reports, correspondence, gift acknowledgements, donor briefings, event briefings, and large-scale donor mailings.
  • Ensure materials comply with PPFA regulations.
  • Conduct research on donors and prospects.
  • Support gift officers and discovery manager in documenting fundraising activity in database and hard files.
  • Provide administrative support for the National Director of PMG.
  • Perform additional development-related activities as requested.
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • One year of directly related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Google).
  • Work collaboratively with a dynamic, fast-moving team.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Sensitivity to diversity and inclusion.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Commitment to Planned Parenthood’s mission.
  • Understanding of the Sexual and Reproductive Health ecosystem.
