As part of External Relations, the Mass Markets USA (MMUSA) program is responsible for raising $70+ million in unrestricted revenue annually in the U.S. market and plays a meaningful strategic role in the creation of the IRC’s brand, awareness and support for its advocacy goals.

Overview

The Manager, Mid-Level Giving provides hands‑on support for the execution and day‑to‑day operations of the Mid-Level Giving program, which engages donors contributing between $1,000 and $19,999 annually. This role blends donor services, campaign coordination, project management, and audience experience delivery.

Reporting to the Senior Officer of Mid-Level Giving, the Manager helps maintain a donor‑first experience across all channels—managing donor communications, supporting acknowledgments and stewardship, and coordinating execution of mail, email, telemarketing, SMS, and paid media touchpoints.

This is an ideal opportunity for a strong organizer and communicator with a donor‑centric mindset, campaign coordination experience, and the ability to manage many moving parts in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities Donor Concierge & Communications (40%)
  • Provide premium concierge service and support to donors by responding in a timely manner to incoming calls, correspondence, and other inquiries.
  • Ensure all information gathered on donors and prospects is accurately entered into the donor database.
  • Research and resolve donor issues within the identified time frames; continually monitor status of issues related to donors, and communicate status to donors and related stakeholders, in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance workflow procedure and to create greater efficiencies.
  • Cultivate and build relationships with donors in a portfolio by proactively managing the relationships and providing accurate organizational and program information.
  • Assist with project and vendor coordination for the donor concierge program and insight panel, and traffic resources and content.
  • Identify and elevate high‑value opportunities or issues to the Mid‑level team or Supporter Care as appropriate.
Campaign Coordination & Execution (20%)
  • Coordinate direct marketing campaigns across channels (mail, email, telemarketing, SMS, paid media), providing support for meeting scheduling, copy and art trafficking, landing pages, and vendor interaction.
  • Coordinate acknowledgments, receipts, and thank‑you efforts to ensure a consistent donor journey.
Project Management & Planning (20%)
  • Track project progress and timelines using  and other team systems.
  • Maintain documentation of campaign briefs, workflows, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely deliverables and clear communication.
Events & Engagement Support (10%)
  • Partner with the Events and audience teams to plan and execute virtual donor events.
  • Coordinate attendee lists, invitations, follow‑up messaging, and survey or feedback collection.
Operations & Reporting (10%)
