Collective Impact Planning VISTA

Overview

The Collective Impact Planning VISTA project is a yearlong service opportunity based at the Children’s Aid Gospel Center, focused on reducing chronic absenteeism in Bronx School District 12. This initiative supports Children’s Aid in its dual role as a direct service provider and a backbone organization coordinating a long‑term, community-driven response to absenteeism.

The Ameri Corps VISTA member will lead planning efforts to reduce chronic absenteeism in Bronx School District 12 by building community partnerships, conducting landscape analyses, and facilitating stakeholder engagement. The member will support the development of a Collective Impact framework, organize focus groups and interviews, and create outreach materials to drive collaboration. They will also help relaunch the Bronx Regional Integration Cabinet, assist with internal capacity‑building efforts at Children’s Aid, and contribute to the creation of an Implementation Roadmap for a 2025–2026 pilot initiative.
