CAH - RN-OR Internal Posting Dates:
August 21, 2025-August 28, 2025 CAH-OR - RN-Per Diem-Day Shift-7am to 3:30p plus Call– Req 8874 Per Diem Pay Range $52.27-$58.43*

The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards of care. He /she demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice;

and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department.

• OR Nurse Manager

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

• Bachelor's of Nursing

• Valid NYS RN licensure
• Valid BLS, ACLS and PALS within six(6) months of hire

• Peri-Op 101 Certification

• At least 5 years of Medical/Surgical experience
• Basic Computer knowledge
• Maintaining confidentiality of all patient information
• Maintaining quality assurance and compliance with all regulatory agencies
• Ability to implement and support procedures and programs pertaining to patient safety and security
• Exhibit proficient communication skills and ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a variety of personalities
• Ability to sustain attention to detail and accuracy as it pertains to the monitoring and documentation of information
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients
• Acknowledging changes in a patient’s condition or behavior, and promptly reporting these changes to appropriate licensed nursing personnel
• Must live within a half hour drive to be in a call position.
