CAH - RN SUPERVISOR

CAH-Nursing Administration - RN Supervisor – Per Diem - Various 12-hour Shifts - Req 8207

Pay Range $46.28-$61.33*

Assesses plans, organizes, directs and evaluates the delivery of patient care and services. At a managerial level, ensures quality of care is rendered to all patients in accordance with hospital and nursing department standards of care. Serves as a professional role model. Assumes overall responsibility for nursing services on each shift to provide continuity in decision making and continuity in nursing practice.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the State of New York.
• BSN preferred.
• Education in nursing management preferred.
• Four years of progressive nursing experience in a hospital setting with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• ACLS required.
• Approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience and successful achievement in medications examination. Must possess and demonstrate knowledge of the appropriate means to provide care to the infant, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. In addition, must possess knowledge of their growth and development requirements and age specific needs.
