Salary and Schedule- Salary: $22.00/hr Per Non-Unit Rate Sheet

- Supervisor: District Medical Director
- Civil Service Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
- Valid NYS RN or LPN license
- Knowledge of practical nursing techniques
- Ability to work with students, staff, and parents
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good judgment
- Ability to record and report health information accurately
- Ability to understand detailed instructions
- Must be able to travel
- Attendance expected
- Perform medical/emergency treatments and dispense medications
- Attend to physical needs such as toileting, feeding, and lifting
- Assist with triage of students and communicate health concerns
- Monitor student health and collaborate with healthcare team
- Manage office in the absence of the school nurse
- Participate in committees and continuing education
- Maintain health records and assist with inventory
- Extra hours and other duties as assigned
