We are seeking Nurse Practitioners to partner with us as independent contractors, providing services to military service members.
Our work primarily occurs on weekends, with occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in New York, on an "as needed" basis.
We provide health readiness services to meet medical and dental requirements for maintaining a deployable military force for:
- U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
- Army National Guard (ARNG)
- U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
- U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
- U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
- Air National Guard (ANG)
- U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)
Responsibilities:
- Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
- Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
- Interview military personnel regarding medical concerns.
- Identify urgent concerns, including behavioral health issues.
- Document interview results using our proprietary system.
Requirements:
- Active NP license in the state.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health (preferred).
- Experience with mobile medical services (preferred).
- Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology (preferred).
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with high volumes.
- Extended hours and travel, including weekends (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing medication not required.
