CAH - RN-ASU – Registered Nurse (Ambulatory Surgical Unit) – Claxton Hepburn Medical Center & Medical Campus, Carthage, NY

$37.72–$53.45 per hour.

• Plans, coordinates, and implements patient care specific to the age population served.
• Ensures quality care is provided efficiently and safely, consistent with unit standards.
• Demonstrates performance aligned with unit and organization mission; remains flexible to changing systems.
• Maintains performance improvement activities within the department.
• Reports to:
  
  OR Nurse Manager.

• Education Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Licenses: Valid NYS RN licensure; BLS, ACLS, PALS valid within six months of hire.
• Preferred Certification: Peri‑Op 101 Certification.
• Experience: At least 5 years of medical/surgical experience.
• Basic computer knowledge; maintains confidentiality, quality assurance compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Ability to implement and support patient safety and security procedures.
• Proficient communication skills for diverse personalities.
• Attention to detail in monitoring, documentation.
• Maintains safe, clean environment for patients.
• Promptly reports changes in patient condition to licensed nursing personnel.
