Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner for our Division of General Surgery.

• Join an established hospital‑based General Surgery group of 11 Surgeons and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC). Metabolic & Bariatrics subspecialty currently includes 3 Surgeons and 1 APC.
• Responsibilities will mainly involve operating room (OR) work as first assistant in large cases that require a second clinician, some outpatient clinic duties, and call coverage.
• Extensive surgical and inpatient hospital experience is essential.
• Salary Range: $104,040 – $131,664 plus performance‑based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement and is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation.
• Sign‑on Bonus up to $50,000.

• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
