Location: Town of Irondequoit
The East Irondequoit Central School District is seeking a compassionate & skilled LPN to provide 1:1 nursing care for a student with complex medical needs in a classroom setting at Mary Cariola Children's Center, Monday - Friday, 2.5 hours per day.
Duties & Responsibilities- Track oxygen levels and administer via tracheostomy if needed.
- Perform frequent suctioning to maintain airway.
- Monitor classroom, therapy, and outside play and be prepared to respond if need arises.

Qualifications- Valid LPN
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Experience with gastrostomy (g‑tube) and medication administration/tube feedings preferred.
- Ability to work effectively, compassionately, and independently in a multidisciplinary team within a SPED Classroom.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, parents, and healthcare providers
- Knowledge of infection control, universal precautions, and emergency response planning
- Prior experience with pediatric nursing and/or with special needs students
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to learn and grow professionally in a dynamic school environment
