Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) Salary

Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team at Absolut Center. The RN Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents and providing leadership and support to the nursing staff. Available shifts are full and part-time on evenings (3pm to 11pm) and overnights (11pm to 7am)
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Coordinate and oversee nursing care activities on assigned shifts to ensure compliance with established standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, monitor care delivery, and address any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Assist with the assessment and management of complex resident cases, including medication administration and treatment interventions.
- Mentor and support nursing staff, providing guidance, education, and feedback to promote professional growth and development.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident care, staffing, and incidents.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff members.
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with NYS licensing board.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted. - Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
- CPR certification required.
