We are looking for an experienced Wound Care Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients within the comfort of their home. Treating wounds and incisions while maintaining healthy skin integrity requires complex nursing care. It takes a highly skilled professional to know the techniques and materials required for appropriate wound management. Wound care nurses work in a variety of settings, from acute care hospitals and long-term care facilities to home health environments.

- Creating, updating, and managing care plans
- Performing specialized procedures (e.g., removing dead tissue/debridement, cleaning wounds, and bandaging)
- Working with a multidisciplinary team to plan skin care interventions
- Assessing and monitoring wounds
- Cleaning and bandaging wounds
- Collaborating with other members of the patient care team
- Educating patients and caretakers on wound care, infection prevention, and pressure ulcer care
- Writing orders to expedite wound healing and avoid skin breakdown
- English (Preferred)
- Spanish
- Haitian Creole
- Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) Certification
- Impeccable organization, time management, and critical-thinking skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- CPR Certification (Required)
- Driver's License (Preferred)
