Watertown, New York Pay: $70–$73/hr on W2 Duration: 13+ Weeks with Possible Extension Shift: Flexible, Day/Evening/Night Shifts Available
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team in Watertown, NY. The assignment is initially for 13+ weeks, with potential for extension based on performance and staffing needs.
As a Med-Surg RN, you will care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing best practices.
Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and document patient status accurately.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management, post-operative care, and discharge instructions.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
Medical/Surgical experience preferred; recent hospital experience is a plus.
BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
