• Manage, plan, direct, implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care for a specific unit.
• Support the mission and vision of New York‑Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
• Manage the day‑to‑day activity of the unit and lead the nursing care team.
• Maintain a professional and nurturing environment that fosters a culture of respect and kindness.
• Ensure interdisciplinary team members contribute to optimal patient outcomes.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field is required.
• Must currently be registered as a Professional Nurse in New York State.
• 3+ years of registered nurse experience in step‑down or critical care required.
• Leadership and/or collaborative experience required.
• Nursing certifications preferred (BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association required).

$150,000 – $185,000 per year.

New York, NY (on‑site presence required; employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.)
