Family Nurse Practitioner- Wound Care

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking experienced, compassionate Nurse Practitioners to join our dynamic wound care team. This role is offered on a flexible part‑time and per diem basis, providing a rewarding opportunity to deliver specialized wound management care to our growing patient population.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for wound care patients.
• Provide direct patient care, including wound evaluation, debridement, dressing changes, and patient education.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document patient interactions accurately, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and adhere to established clinical protocols.

• Valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in NY
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience; prior experience in wound care highly preferred.
• Certification as a Wound Care specialist (CWS/WCC) preferred but not required. (Support available for certification for suitable candidates)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate starting at $110 - $125/hour, negotiable based on experience.

Certification Support:

• For candidates without wound care certification, we will offer guidance and support to obtain certification as part of our commitment to professional development.
