Position SummaryThe facility is seeking an experienced and compassionate Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join a dedicated, patient‑centered team in Bronx, NY.

Essential Position Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and non‑emergent conditions.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, abscess drainage, and medication administration as appropriate.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, including labs, X‑rays, and EKGs.
- Prescribe and manage medications consistent with clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Provide patient education and counseling on diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive health measures.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care.
- Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).
- Licensure & Certification: Active or eligible Nurse Practitioner license in New York; national certification required.
- Experience: Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
