Anesthesia Technician II - Evening - New York-Presbyterian - The Allen

Full-time position working an evening shift 2pm‑10pm, Monday‑Friday located at New York-Presbyterian/ The Allen.

You will support anesthesiologists and CRNAs during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, and help maintain a safe, effective, and compassionate environment.

• Provide approved assistance to anesthesiologists/CRNAs during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Assist anesthesiologists/CRNAs with placement of regional anesthetics and invasive monitoring devices.
• Maintain equipment and supplies on a daily and case‑by‑case basis to provide quality and cost‑effective anesthesia care.
• Set up sterile equipment such as intravenous, central venous, arterial, and pulmonary artery catheters using sterile technique.
• Operate and disassemble cell saver equipment and rapid infuser devices as assigned.
• Ensure the sterility and cleanliness of specialized equipment, including TEE’s, fiber‑optic scopes, and LMA’s.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Your work area will include four new operating rooms equipped with video‑conference networking for an optimal learning and treatment environment. Two suites feature Seimens’ new Artis Zeego robotic c‑arm scanners—an advanced tool found at only four hospitals nationwide.

• Certification by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT).

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of experience as an anesthesia technician.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification.

$29.93 – $34.45 per hour
