    7.5 hours/day
  • Lunch Break: 30 minutes (site closed for lunch from 12:30 PM ? 1 PM)
Overview

Seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a workplace-based primary care clinic. The role involves performing routine exams, minor procedures, and managing acute and chronic health conditions. This role works closely with an on‑site MA and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform minor in-office procedures and testing, including:
    • COVID-19 (Rapid/PCR), Strep, Influenza, Mono, Urinalysis, and HCG testing
    • Splinter removal, cerumen impaction removal, and eye washes for foreign bodies
    • Pap smears, STD testing, and breast exams
    • Annual physical exams and referrals for preventive care
    • Wound care for minor burns, cuts, and blisters
    • Evaluation and splinting of minor musculoskeletal injuries (e.g., wrist, finger)
  • Read EKGs and administer nebulizer treatments
  • Assist with or perform phlebotomy when necessary
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe treatment for both acute and chronic illnesses
  • Administer vaccinations (e.g., TDAP, shingles, travel vaccines) and allergy shots
  • Collaborate with patient’s allergist as needed
  • Provide patient education and aftercare instructions
Essential Requirements
  • Must have a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York
  • Previous experience in primary care, urgent care, occupational health, ED, or similar settings is preferred
  • Phlebotomy skills are required (The MA on staff can perform phlebotomy but may need to occasionally preform if she's not available in office)
  • Must have an active BLS or be willing to obtain it post offer
  • DEA License preferred
  • Must have a clean background
