Employment Specialist-OPWDD
Location: Slingerlands, NY
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm (30-minute daily unpaid lunch break; some evenings and weekends as needed).
Pay: $21.00 per hour (hourly non-exempt).
Job SummaryOur Supported Employment Program (SEMP) in Slingerlands, NY, has a full-time 35-hour Employment Specialist-OPWDD position available. The Employment Specialist-OPWDD will provide job coaching and supported employment services to individuals with IDD that are interested in working on skills to prepare for employment, seeking employment, and supporting people in maintaining their current employment.

Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability standards.
- To secure and maintain all certifications and training required by WWAARC (including 1st Aid & CPR & Decision Driving).
- Combination of education and experience working with people with IDD.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must have personal vehicle to use for providing services.
