• Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Acute Care Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 19, 2024 – August 18, 2024)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 48 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,950 - $2,090 per week
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – New York State RN license preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Acute Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to medical treatments
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and clinical support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all patients
