• Will allow 1 week of RTO

The Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse provides leadership and direct nursing care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and complex care. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective treatment. This position requires advanced critical-thinking skills, patient-centered focus, and the ability to act as a resource for patients and families navigating complex conditions.

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience (PCU, Telemetry, or Med-Surg/Stepdown strongly preferred).
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR.
• Strong clinical knowledge, analytical abilities, and experience creating and following effective care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of complex clinical nursing duties.
• Excellent patient/family communication skills.

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate degree or diploma).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
